Not the property itself. Knew about stairs to property but did not understand how difficult it would be to use. We had to limit our climbs to once per day....it limited us somewhat; distance to grocery store ok. Believe the steps to and from need to be specifically mentioned as a fact as it would be almost Impossible for an older couple to manage. Julie was great as were the Italian chefs.

The terrace area was definitely our favorite part of the villa. It was comfortable and offered great views of Positano and the ocean. We enjoyed coffee in the mornings and wine in the evenings while enjoying the amazing view. It was also very convenient to Fornillo beach.

We loved the terrace. The plants and seating area were amazing. It was like an oasis. It's where we spent the most of our time. Great shower. Functional kitchen. The location of the villa was also great. The cleaners did a really good job. Lastly, Julie was very helpful. We had to call her a few times in the week and she was always gracious, friendly and informative. She was also punctual. We really liked her.

We appreciated everything - the outside balcony was so beautiful, and the flowers and plantings beautifully maintained. We also loved how well stocked the kitchen was, since we love to cook. And the bed was very comfortable - we loved how the doors opened onto the outside area and the lemon grove. We had no complaints at all, the property was better than we even imagined.

Julie was WONDERFUL. I can't wait to stay at the villa again!!! I travel a lot and this was one of my favorite places ever!! There are 159 steps down (and them UP AGAIN)...but after day 2 you got used to it!! The walk into town was a nice stroll and good for people watching!

What are the aspects of the property that you appreciated the most?
My daughter and I spent one week in Casa Claudius and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The beautiful garden, the view, and the proximity to town made this the perfect holdiay villa. Julie meet us as soon as our bus arrived in Positano and made arrangements for our luggage to be transported to the villa. I would defiantely return to vacation here and highly recommend this property.

No, it was great. It would have been nice to know that we had to go down and up 159 steps to get to our property. My husband is 83 yrs. old and it was a challange. It did say there were steps, but I thought it was steps to the beach, not the property. Thanks goodness we could hire someone to carry our luggage! It is not for the handicapped.

This property was exactly as advertised on the web. We found it very private with a magnificent view. On many a night we enjoyed a glass of wine on the terrace and breakfast under the lemon tree. The villa included so many beautiful things, often not found in rental properties (except for a hairdryer) ...we felt very much at home there. Of course there were stairs, lots of them but even at our young age of 65 we handled them very well and felt quite fit at the end of the week. Obviously not for those with knee or heart problems. A most glorious stay.
