PRIVATE STRUCTURE. The apartment is located in the area of Lake Garda and the Valtenesi. The building, an old, recently renovated monastery divided into 13 apartments, stands in a residential area with little traffic. The main services such as the bank, post office and shops are located in the centre of Soiano, 500 m from the property. The area is interesting both from the point of view of nature, with Lake Garda and the hills of Valtenesi, and culture with the cities of Brescia and Verona and the historical town centres of Salò, Desenzano del Garda and Sirmione. Guests have a wonderful lake view, a private garden with gazebo and barbecue and can use the communal swimming pool and solarium.
The apartment is situated on the ground floor, where we find a large living room with fireplace, connected to the modern, bright and well-equipped kitchen/dining room. The sleeping area consists of one double bedroom, one double bedroom with dividable beds and two twin bedrooms with joinable beds, a study and three bathrooms with shower; two of the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms. Down the corridor, completely hidden by a folding door, is the laundry room. From the kitchen you go out to the outdoor dining area, shaded by a tent sail, with table, chairs and a sitting area from where you can admire the view over Lake Garda. The apartment has been recently renovated with quality finishing touches and with a “minimal” style that pervades all the rooms, conferring on them a very relaxing “zen” atmosphere. Great attention has been paid to the décor: each element is perfectly integrated in the room in which it is placed and we also find designer pieces, such as the dining table designed by the architect Eero Saarinen.
The villa overlooks a fenced-in sloping park of 3,500 sq m covered in lawn and with typical herbs of Lake Garda, cypresses, olive trees, pines and hedges of oleander and laurel. Inside the park is a large parking area and a pool with solarium overlooking the lake, for the guests' use, accessible by walkway and steps. The apartment has at its disposal a private garden of about 500 sq m, an outdoor dining area and barbecue, all with sweeping views of the lake, and with laurel hedges that guarantee the privacy of the guests.
Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa.
The swimming pool, shared with the other units and situated in the garden of the property, is reached from the villa along a walkway and a flight of 28 steps. Lined in sky-blue mosaic and with an irregular shape, it measures 80 sq m with a varying depth of 50 cm to 3 m; access to the water is by ladder and it has chlorine purification and both internal and external lighting. In the immediate vicinity of the pool is a bathroom, changing room and hot and cold-water shower. The 100 sq m area around the pool and solarium is paved with anti-slip, self-locking tiles. The area is equipped with 14 sunbeds, two tables and an umbrella. The pool is open from the first Saturday of May to the second Saturday of September. PLEASE NOTE: Being the condominium swimming pool, internal regulations apply which must be respected by kind guests. It is not allowed to bring and consume food inside the pool area.
