Villa Poderina is set in the fascinating, picturesque landscape of the Marche hinterland, in the province of Pesaro Urbino, just 3 km from the renowned town of Acqualagna, known as the “Truffle Capital”. The renovation of the farmhouse was carried out with particular attention to the architectural forms and with attention to detail, conferring on the house a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere for its elegance and simplicity. Distinguished by a refined balance of neutral colours, by a modern design with minimal furnishings and simple lines mixed with typical materials of rustic-rural tradition like terracotta and wooden beams; all rendered even more effective by the lights which are positioned in such a way as to enhance the harmony of the volumes. Villa Poderina is immersed in green, silent nature, with a slight background noise given by the slow flowing of the waters of the Candigliano river that delimit it naturally, offering guests the opportunity to cool off in its clear waters. A perfect location, almost of times gone by and, above all, far from the hustle and bustle of the city. VILLA PODERINA HAS BEEN SUBJECTED TO A CHECK-UP BY A TECHNICAL RESPONSIBLE BEFORE THE BEGINNING OF THE SEASON, TO ENSURE CONSISTENCY OF THE DESCRIPTION, ACCESSORIES LISTED ON THIS PAGE AND THEIR PRESENT STATE OF OPERATION/MAINTENANCE, TO GUARANTEE QUALITY, CLEANLINESS AND COMFORTS TO ALL CLIENTS WHO WILL STAY HERE.

Interior:

The farmhouse has two floors. The main entrance, on the ground floor, leads into the service kitchen for use of the sleeping area consisting of: a quadruple bedroom with a double bed and two single beds, a double bedroom with a bed suspended by ropes of jute and en-suite bathroom with hydromassage tub and a double bedroom with adjacent bathroom with shower. An internal terracotta staircase leads down to the basement with the living area consisting of the kitchen with central island, the sitting room with fireplace and the dining room with French windows that open out onto the portico with dining area and barbecue. This floor is completed by a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with marble tub, a bathroom with shower and a laundry room

Park:

Villa Poderina is surrounded by a flat, sunny park of about 30,000 sq m, characterised by many tall trees such as poplars, olives, holm oaks and cypresses. The large lawn in front of the living area of the villa, from where you can see the famous Gola del Furlo, is a nice environment which guests can enjoy at any time of the day. The spacious portico, accessible from the dining room, is elegantly furnished with a table, chairs and a nice double suspended hammock facing the play area where children can roam freely and play on the slide and other games. Also for the kids is a little house just for them, not far from the villa, furnished with a playstation console and TV. For nature lovers there is a private beach on the riverbank where they can enjoy the fresh, relaxing air, go for a swim or maybe, for those who wish to, fish thanks to the equipment that the owner has left for use of the guests. Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa.

Swimming Pool:

Open from the last Saturday of April to the first Saturday of October, the pool is located in front of the portico, with an enchanting view over the Candigliano river. L-shaped, it measures 3 x 3 m - 10 x 5 m with a constant depth of 1,40 m. Entrance to the pool is unusual from a “beach”, perfect as a pleasant relaxation area and fun area for the kids, followed by steps going down. Lined in stone-coloured PVC with the external border paved in stone, the pool has chlorine purification and both internal and external lighting. Along the perimeter of the pool is the lawn sunbathing area, equipped with sunbeds.

It's particular, strategic position makes Villa Poderina the perfect starting point for exploring various itineraries: food and wine, artistic, historical and naturalist. Just 3 km from Acqualagna the "Truffle Capital", whose importance is recognised throughout the year for various events and for the centuries-old tradition of searching for, producing and marketing the most famous tuber of all time. Also important is its proximity to the magnificent Gola del Furlo, at the confluence of the Burano stream, a land surrounded by unspoilt nature and enchanting scenery that will thrill the eyes of the visitor who comes upon it. Within a radius of 100 km are important tourist and cultural centres such as Gubbio - 27 km, Urbino - 39 km, Pesaro - 60 km, Perugia - 80 km and San Marino - 100 km. All essential shops can be found in Acqualagna.

The standard typology is the one that foresees the regular Saturday- Saturday stay. In this case it is possible to send a request or to directly book online.

SHORT STAYS and NON-WEEKLY STAYS:
For some periods it is possible to make shorter stays STARTING FROM 5 NIGHTS (periods highlighted in grey on the calendar). For some properties it is possible to book online, for other properties it is possible to send a booking request, which will be subject to acceptance by Emma Villas. One of our booking operators will answer the clients within 24 hours.

WEEKLY RENTALS NON SAT - SAT STAYS:
Exclusively for the periods marked in grey on the calendar, it will be possible to book different periods, rather than the regular Saturday - Saturday (for instance: check-in Wednesday - Check-out Wednesday). Also in this case, for some properties it is possible to book online, for other properties it is possible to send a booking request, which will be subject to acceptance by Emma Villas within 24 hours.

The booking requests for one week stay during July and August are subject to approval.
