PRIVATE STRUCTURE. Casale Sally is a romantic farmhouse in the hills between Orvieto e Todi, characteristic Umbrian medieval towns visited by tourists from all over the world for the beauty of their monuments. Casale Sally is in a splendid panoramic position overlooking Lake Corbara; inserted in the Tevere river park, is the ideal refuge for those who wish to spend their holidays in total relaxation away from the chaos of the city, discovering the benefits of a healthy country life. The farmhouse, built entirely in stone and with earthquake engenieering, is situated in a large olive grove and park of about 3.500 square meters. The ground floor has terracotta tiled floors whereas the first floor has wooden floors. The ceilings are in wood and the house is furnished simply but elegantly with accessories creating a romantic but functional atmosphere. Basic shopping can be done in the nearby village of Civitella del Lago while the proximity of the motorway exit of Orvieto gives easy access to the important historical centres of central Italy such as Rome, Florence, Perugia, Assisi, Siena, Cortona and Montepulciano.

CASALE SALLY HAS BEEN SUBJECTED TO A CHECK-UP BY A TECHNICAL RESPONSIBLE BEFORE THE BEGINNING OF THE SEASON, TO ENSURE CONSISTENCY OF THE DESCRIPTION, ACCESSORIES LISTED ON THIS PAGE AND THEIR PRESENT STATE OF OPERATION/MAINTENANCE, TO GUARANTEE QUALITY, CLEANLINESS AND COMFORTS TO ALL CLIENTS WHO WILL STAY HERE.

Interior:

Externally, on the ground floor, there is an ample furnished patio which overlooks the Tuscan and Umbrian hills, from which one accesses into a large living room sub-divided into conversation area, furnished with comfortable sofas, TV and ornamental fireplace, and dining area, with table for six people, a kitchen, pantry and laundry room. There is also a twin bedroom and a bathroom with shower on this floor. From the living room a staircase leads to the first floor with two bedrooms, one double and one twin, and a bathroom with tub.

Park:

Casale Sally is surrounded by a gently sloping land of about 3.500 sqm consisting of parkland and ancient olive trees among which benches have been placed for admiring the enchanting views and sunsets of Umbrian countryside.The parking area in the property is suitable for three cars. Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa.

Swimming Pool:

Open from the last Saturday of April to the first Saturday of October, the elliptical pool is 8 x 4 m with a maximum depth of 1,60 m and is fully equipped for 6 people. 25 steps lead down to the pool from the house.

Located in the Umbrian countryside, it has a wonderful view towards three region: Latium (Montefiascone, Bagnoregio), Umbria (Corbara lake, Orvieto city) and Tuscany (Monte Amiata). It is located at the bottom of the hill where rises the hamlet of Civitella del Lago, where you can find some small store for first necessity. The distances from the Motorway A1 (15 km) as well as from the railways station of Orvieto make the location ideal for sightseeing around the beautiful Umbrian historical cities as well as Tuscany ones.

Lovely location with views of the lake and very peaceful. House was well equipped and comfortable. Owner was very nice and helpful.

Not really. Perhaps the kitchen could be a little better equipped? There wasn't a very big chopping board or sharp knives. This is a very small problem though and the oven and barbecue were great.

The views were fantastic, the property was full of charm and the peace and quiet was exceptional; the loudest sound you hear are the birds. There is lots of space in the property, so you don't feel cramped. The open plan living room with log fire is great in the evenings. Put the fire on and add a few candles and with the star light coming in the windows its magical. The owner could not have been more pleasent, helpful or generous, she shopped for my Gluten free food for the villa and then gav

A more modern iron. Rubbish bins in the bathrooms. A clothes dryer; to me that would be more useful than a dishwasher. Provide additional kitchen garbage bags, one for the week is not enough. More towels-not a lot just maybe one more per person per week

WEEKLY RENTALS:
The standard typology is the one that foresees the regular Saturday- Saturday stay. In this case it is possible to send a request or to directly book online.

SHORT STAYS and NON-WEEKLY STAYS:
For some periods it is possible to make shorter stays STARTING FROM 5 NIGHTS (periods highlighted in grey on the calendar). For some properties it is possible to book online, for other properties it is possible to send a booking request, which will be subject to acceptance by Emma Villas. Exclusively for the periods marked in grey on the calendar, it will be possible to book different periods, rather than the regular Saturday - Saturday (for instance: check-in Wednesday - Check-out Wednesday). Also in this case, for some properties it is possible to book online, for other properties it is possible to send a booking request, which will be subject to acceptance by Emma Villas within 24 hours.

The booking requests for one week stay during July and August are subject to approval.

STAY CANCELLATION GUARANTEE DUE TO LOCKDOWN - by Emma Villas (Included in the price) The final price of the reservation includes also the special coverage, guaranteed by Emma Villas, in the event that you are forced to cancel your stay in the 30 days prior to the scheduled check-in date, due to the occurrence of at least one of the following Covid-19 epidemic containment measures officially imposed by the competent authorities:
  • national lockdown in Italy;
  • local lockdown in Italy regarding the area in which the booked villa is located ("red" area or impossible to reach due to official restrictions on free circulation);
  • national lockdown in your country of residence;
  • Italian local lockdown in the Client's Municipality or area of residence..

The benefits of this guarantee are: you do not pay the security deposit on arrival: neither in cash nor by immobilising a substantial amount on your credit card limit;
  • you are protected in the case of eventual damage to the property caused accidentally during your stay (up to the maximum limit of 1500 euro);
