Description:

PRIVATE STRUCTURE (lease only). Villa Alfina is an elegant stone farmhouse set in a farm at 500m above sea level, restructured as to guarantee a high standard and totally relaxing for the guests. The materials used for the renovation are of a high quality with many original pieces made by local artist and the terracotta pavement, the wooden beams were recycling from the old property. Immersed in the quiet Umbrian country side, the property is only 13 km away from the Orvieto, one of the most important Gothic cathedral in Italy. This strategic position of the villa offers its guests the opportunity to visit many famous art centers like Assisi, Siena and other the major tourists centers in Tuscany and Umbria. The property offers a unique mix for sports lovers: in addition to the private pool (with biowater system of cleaning) and with hydro-massage jets, from 2014 is open the tennis court with synthetic grass, available on request (with also a teacher for private lessons); also, from the house is possible to go for excursions by mountain bike along the many well-maintained unpaved roads, the expert bikers can get to the lake of Bolsena along the Via Francigena. Horse lovers, who wish to bring your own horse (by agreement with the owner) can, thanks to the stabling in paddock, mount it in the handling of the property. Finally, for lovers of golf, just five minutes from the villa is the golf course and a driving range "Acquapendente Golf Club", with trainers.

VILLA ALFINA HAS BEEN SUBJECTED TO A CHECK-UP BY A TECHNICAL RESPONSIBLE BEFORE THE BEGINNING OF THE SEASON, TO ENSURE CONSISTENCY OF THE DESCRIPTION, ACCESSORIES LISTED ON THIS PAGE AND THEIR PRESENT STATE OF OPERATION/MAINTENANCE, TO GUARANTEE QUALITY, CLEANLINESS AND COMFORTS TO ALL CLIENTS WHO WILL STAY HERE.

Interior:

The villa is on two levels. The main entrance is on the ground floor which is made up of a living room, TV corner, dining room, kitchen, billiard room and service bathroom. The first floor is via a “cotto” staircase and composed of three double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms with shower and another double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with tub. Also on this floor there is a laundry room.

Park:

The house is immersed in the green Umbrian country side surrounded by olive groves, woods and agriculture fields cultivated with corn and wheat. The park (with entrance gate shared with another property) is surrounded by a English lawn enriched with secular trees which offer valuable shade on the hot summer days. On one side of the house there is a porch, furnished with table, chairs and fix barbecue. A small outdoor fitness area has been furnished under the porch of the private warehouse next to the house. Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa.

Swimming Pool:

Open from the last Saturday of April to the first Saturday in October, the rectangular shape swimming pool (cleaned by salt) is 60 m from the house and has a Roman staircase, the pool measure 12x6 m with a depth from 1 m to 1, 80 m, it has hydro-massage jets on one side. The pool is surrounded by a well kept lawn area where there are sun beds, chairs, and table, sun umbrellas and a shower with cold water.

Tennis-court:

The fenced-in tennis court (available on request), with regular dimensions 18 x 36 m, has synthetic grass surface, professional training wall and is located about 50m from the villa.

Immersed in country side,. located at 8 few Km the Motorway A1, exit Orvieto, it is a good starting point for whom like tours and sightseeing all over Tuscany, Umbria or Lazio. The important Umbrian cities like Todi, Perugia, Assisi and so on can be easily reached by the E45 super way. Orvieto has an important railway station that make easy visit by train the major cities like Rome or Florence avoiding the traffic and the parking problem.

Il Customer Service è stato perfetto. Quando abbiamo avuto problemi, Maurizio ha prontamente risolto la situazione. La Piscina e il giardino erano sempre puliti e ordinati. I consigli e i suggerimenti erano validi e molto interessanti. mai invadente ma sempre presente.

The standard typology is the one that foresees the regular Saturday- Saturday stay. In this case it is possible to send a request or to directly book online.

SHORT STAYS and NON-WEEKLY STAYS:
For some periods it is possible to make shorter stays STARTING FROM 5 NIGHTS (periods highlighted in grey on the calendar). For some properties it is possible to book online, for other properties it is possible to send a booking request, which will be subject to acceptance by Emma Villas. One of our booking operators will answer the clients within 24 hours.

WEEKLY RENTALS NON SAT - SAT STAYS:
Exclusively for the periods marked in grey on the calendar, it will be possible to book different periods, rather than the regular Saturday - Saturday (for instance: check-in Wednesday - Check-out Wednesday). Also in this case, for some properties it is possible to book online, for other properties it is possible to send a booking request, which will be subject to acceptance by Emma Villas within 24 hours.

The booking requests for one week stay during July and August are subject to approval.
