Description:

PRIVATE STRUCTURE. On the eastern shore of Lake Garda, where the brightness of the surroundings, the mild climate and the lush vegetation provide the background for interesting historical and cultural examples, stands Villa Gardenia, set in a quiet tourist/residential area between Lake Garda and Monte Baldo. The proximity to the largest Italian lake with its deep blue waters and unequalled transparency, makes Villa Gardenia a unique destination for visitors looking for a holiday dedicated to relaxation, sport, fun, food and wine, with the enthusiasm for exploring new places. The villa is independent and has at its disposal a private garden with pool and sunbathing area overlooking the lake. All principal services such as the bank, post office and shops can be found in the characteristic town centre of Torri del Benaco, about 6 km from the property.

Interior:

Villa Gardenia has two floors. The main entrance is located under the portico, furnished with table and chairs for dining in front of the splendid view of the lake. On the ground floor is a small sitting room and the sleeping area with a double bedroom, a twin bedroom, a twin bedroom with joinable beds and a bathroom with shower. An internal staircase leads up to the first floor with the living area composed of a fitted kitchen, a spacious sitting/dining room with view over Lake Garda and a bathroom with shower. The pitched wooden ceiling of the sitting room creates a very airy, breathable space, accentuated by the numerous windows and large balcony which offer a 180° view over the lake.

Park:

The villa is surrounded by a sloping, terraced garden of 2000 square metres with lawn, hedges and the typical herbs of Lake Garda; in the garden is the swimming pool with the solarium area with sunbeds and umbrellas for the guests. Next to it is the outdoor dining area and the fixed barbecue. The vegetation and the lay of the ground offer a wide view of the lake and, at the same time, complete privacy and tranquillity.

Swimming Pool:

The rectangular infinity pool, illuminated both internally and externally, lies in the garden next to the portico and is surrounded by a solarium area, paved in non-slip porcelain tile, with sunbeds and umbrella. It measures 10 x 5 m with the depth ranging from 1,20 to 1,50 m. It is lined with PVC and tiles in shades of blue and has chlorine purification; access to the water is via ladder and there is an outdoor hot and cold-water shower. Given the slope of the land, the pool seems to stretch out into the lake, with the stupendous panorama as its strong point. It is available to guests from the last Saturday in April until the first Saturday in October.

Location and distances


The villa is located on the east shore of Lake Garda, 500 metres from the little historic town centre of Pai di Sopra, a district of Torri del Benaco with bars and restaurants, while for main services such as shops, supermarket and banks, you will have to go to the characteristic town centre of Torri del Benaco, 6 km away. Pai is a small borgo which has been known since the beginning of the 11th century; the oldest part, Pai di Sopra, set on the side of Monte Baldo, still shows the traces of ancient fortifications destroyed by Barbarossa. The modern centre, Pai di Sotto, is on the lake shore and its major points of interest are the 12th century Romanesque church of San Gregorio and the little port. The nearest public beach is about 2 km away as is the dock of Navigarda from where you can take a boat to visit all the most beautiful spots of Lake Garda. The surrounding area is full of interesting nature and food and wine routes, with the Garda DOP (Denominazione di Origine Protetta = Protected Designation of Origin) olive oil mills and the Bardolino wine cellars. Nearby you can visit beautiful Verona (50 km) where, during the summer, you can attend one of the concerts of the Festival Lirico dell'Arena. The property is the ideal place for water sport fans: in the area are important sailing clubs where you can join Sailing, Windsurfing and Kitesurfing courses. Hikers and walkers will also be satisfied: from the piazza of Pai di Sopra, near Villa Gardenia, departs the Percorso del Pellegrino (Pilgrim Route) that goes to the medieval borgo of Campo di Brenzone, linking it via paths to the centre of Brenzone; the route is full of wonderful views of the lake and can also be traversed by mountain bike.

The standard typology is the one that foresees the regular Saturday- Saturday stay. In this case it is possible to send a request or to directly book online.

SHORT STAYS and NON-WEEKLY STAYS:
For some periods it is possible to make shorter stays STARTING FROM 5 NIGHTS (periods highlighted in grey on the calendar). For some properties it is possible to book online, for other properties it is possible to send a booking request, which will be subject to acceptance by Emma Villas. One of our booking operators will answer the clients within 24 hours.

WEEKLY RENTALS NON SAT - SAT STAYS:
Exclusively for the periods marked in grey on the calendar, it will be possible to book different periods, rather than the regular Saturday - Saturday (for instance: check-in Wednesday - Check-out Wednesday). Also in this case, for some properties it is possible to book online, for other properties it is possible to send a booking request, which will be subject to acceptance by Emma Villas within 24 hours.

The booking requests for one week stay during July and August are subject to approval.

  • local lockdown in Italy regarding the area in which the booked villa is located ("red" area or impossible to reach due to official restrictions on free circulation);
  • national lockdown in your country of residence;
  • Italian local lockdown in the Client's Municipality or area of residence..
