Stay Cancellation Policy

The final price of the reservation includes the Insurance Policy for Cancellation of Stay.. From this year, in addition to objectively and unambiguously documentable motivations of health or work and not foreseeable at the time of booking, you can cancel and be reimbursed in the event of:
  • motivations related to chronic and pre-existing conditions (new)
  • Covid-19 infections (new)
  • epidemics and pandemics that directly affect you, your travel companion or a family member (new)
  • a terrorist attack that has struck the place of stay (new)
 

Stay Cancellation Guarantee due to Lockdown

The final price of the reservation includes also the special coverage, guaranteed by Emma Villas, in the event that you are forced to cancel your stay in the 30 days prior to the scheduled check-in date, due to the occurrence of at least one of the following Covid-19 epidemic containment measures officially imposed by the competent authorities:
  • national lockdown in Italy;
  • local lockdown in Italy regarding the area in which the booked villa is located ("red" area or impossible to reach due to official restrictions on free circulation);
  • national lockdown in your country of residence;
  • italian local lockdown in the Client’s Municipality or area of residence.

Health Policy

Not only cancellation policies, but also protection during your stay. You can choose to purchase this policy in the event you should, for the duration of your stay, want coverage for:
  • Healthcare with Operations Centre 24/7;
  • Vehicle Assistance to and from the place of stay and for the entire duration of your holiday;
  • Healthcare for family members left at home;
  • Reimbursement of medical expenses;
  • Repeat Trip Guarantee that reimburses the unused portion without deductible in the case of medical return home or early return home.

Covid-19 Extra Policy

To protect against any risks caused by the Covid-19 emergency, you can purchase the Covid-19 Extra Policy which protects you in the event that you or one of your travel companions are forced to extend your stay or are unable to complete it. In the event of consequences related to the pandemic that occur during your stay, if you sign up to this policy, you can request the following services:
  • Return home;
  • Advance for expenses for basic necessities;
  • Guarantee for extra medical expenses;
  • Extended stay guarantee;
  • Hospitalisation allowance;
  • Travel fee reimbursement.

The new "Zer0Dep" guarantee protects you and allows you to have a tranquil holiday. Zer0Dep stands for “Zero deposit”; it is an insurance coverage developed in partnership with EuropAssistance which replaces the security deposit and which is therefore mandatory. The benefits of this guarantee are:
  • you do not pay the security deposit on arrival: neither in cash nor by immobilising a substantial amount on your credit card limit;
  • you are protected in the case of eventual damage to the property caused accidentally during your stay (up to the maximum limit of 1500 euro);
  • you avoid any dispute on the responsibility of the damage and its quantification during check-out;
  • you can enjoy your villa holiday in greater tranquillity.

Furthermore, from spring 2021, all our properties will be supported by Emma, a multifunctional Web-App, developed in partnership with Vikey s.r.l., that will allow you to implement:
  • online check-in (entering the required details that you did not enter when booking);
  • payment of tourist tax (where due) and eventual flat-rate payments requested (eg electricity, heating, extra cleaning for animals, etc.);
  • the purchase of additional services, hospitality (extra cleaning, in-house chef, first grocery shopping, etc.) and experiences (food and wine tours, guided tours, etc.)
