In the heart of Chianti Classico, halfway between Florence and Siena, set on a hill about 370 m above sea level with a breathtaking view of the Castello del Nero, dotted with rows of cypresses, holm oaks, olive trees and vineyards that stretch as far as the eye can see, is Villa I Levrieri. This 17th century property, once part of the Castello del Nero, contained the furnace for producing the bricks for the construction of the entire estate. The owner has extracted from this the living room with central fireplace, leaving the structure unchanged. The interior is characterised by ceilings with exposed beams alternating with brick vaults while the floors are in original terracotta. The charm of the furnishings chosen personally by the owner lets you breathe a completely authentic atmosphere. The structure is divided into two apartments. On the first floor, a large kitchen, a living area with two sitting rooms and direct access to the external portico make this part of the villa extremely habitable and ideal for relaxing and dining. From the portico, an external staircase leads down to the ground floor apartment. The area in which the villa is located, certainly among the most renowned in Italy, is the ideal place from where to start exploring the cultural, historical and natural beauties that characterise Tuscany, such as Siena, Florence, Lucca, Pisa and the small towns of Chianti. Villa I Levrieri is located in a very quiet residential area about 2 km from the borgo of Tavarnelle Val di Pesa, conveniently served by bars, restaurants and shops.

VILLA I LEVRIERI HAS BEEN SUBJECTED TO A CHECK-UP BY A TECHNICAL RESPONSIBLE BEFORE THE BEGINNING OF THE SEASON, TO ENSURE CONSISTENCY OF THE DESCRIPTION, ACCESSORIES LISTED ON THIS PAGE AND THEIR PRESENT STATE OF OPERATION/MAINTENANCE, TO GUARANTEE QUALITY, CLEANLINESS AND COMFORTS TO ALL CLIENTS WHO WILL STAY HERE.

Interior:

The villa consists of two apartments on two floors connected by an external staircase. APRATMENT 1. The main entrance leads into a large living room with sofas, satellite TV, study corner. Going down two steps you come to a further sitting room with central fireplace and, on the right, a kitchen with peninsula and dining table. The French windows of the kitchen and living room face the furnished portico. A few steps from the living area lead to the sleeping area consisting of a double bedroom with king size bed, served by a bathroom with hydromassage shower, and another double with a bed equipped with mosquito net and served by a bathroom with hydromassage tub. APARTMENT 2. Outside, a flight of 13 stairs leads down to the second apartment. From the entrance, 10 steps in pietra serena lead to an open-plan area consisting of a dining room with marble table and fireplace in pietra serena, a sitting room with large sofa with TV and a fully-equipped kitchen with antique stone sink . This apartment has two bedrooms, a double with king size bed equipped with mosquito net and the other with two single beds. To the left of the sitting room is a circular bathroom with a domed ceiling, double washbasin and a circular hydromassage tub in the centre. Next to the small bedroom is a further bathroom with shower. Please note: the fireplaces are ornamental.

Park:

The structure is surrounded by a lush park of approximately 5000 sq m. Completely fenced, it extends over a hilly surface that divides the property into two terraces, with the upper one occupied by the pool area and reached via a flight of steps. Mainly lawn, the garden is an explosion of colour from the Mediterranean vegetation that blends with the surrounding landscape, and is dotted with geranium-filled Impruneta terracotta pots, cypresses, olive and lime trees and a splendid specimen of albizia julibrissin (Persian silk tree). The portico, covered with climbing jasmine and located conveniently at the exit of the French windows of the living area, is set up for outdoor dining. A 5-car parking area is located in a space inside the property in front of the gates of the two respective entrances. Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa.

Swimming Pool:

The west-facing swimming pool lies on the upper terrace of the garden on an open and panoramic viewpoint. About 60 m from the villa, it is reached in just a few steps from the portico and then up some stairs. Rectangular and measuring 7 x 15 m with the depth varying from 1 to 1.80 m, the pool is lined in tiles and has seating that runs along the two longer sides and submerged steps on the shorter side. Purified with chlorine, it can also be used at night thanks to both internal and external lighting.The surrounding sunbathing area, paved in Impruneta terracotta, is equipped with sunbeds and a sofa with armchairs shaded by three umbrellas; to one side is a cold-water shower. The pool is available from the last Saturday of April until the first Saturday of October.
