Description:

PRIVATE STRUCTURE (LEASE ONLY - CIR CODE: 108042-CNI-00001). Villa Pina lies in the peaceful, green setting of Brianza, the ideal place for a holiday of relaxation, of culture with Crespi D'Adda, Monza and Bergamo, of food and wine with craft breweries and cured meats and of shopping in Milan in Via Della Spiga and Via Montenapoleone. This detached villa is surrounded by a park with swimming pool, sunbathing area and gazebo. The beautiful portico is organized as an outdoor dining area, perfect for alfresco meals in all tranquillity.

Interior:

Villa Pina has three floors. The main entrance on the ground floor leads into the large, brightly-lit living room with fireplace, connected to the dining room and the fully-equipped kitchen; the best place for dining in warm weather, however, is the large portico facing the park. On the ground floor is a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with tub and shower, a guest bathroom and a beautiful study/reading area with elegant, classic décor. A wooden staircase leads up to the first floor comprising a double bedroom, a twin bedroom, a bathroom with shower and a loft sitting room with double sofa bed, decorative fireplace and décor that gives this room a particular sense of warmth. The wooden staircase also leads down to the basement with a large living room with direct outside access, a twin bedroom and a bathroom with shower.

Park:

The villa is surrounded by a level park of about 10,000 sq m with lawn, hedges, flowering plants, pines and maples. In the garden is the pool with sunbathing area equipped with sunbeds, umbrella and swing for use of the guests. Set on the lawn, yet close and convenient to the villa, is the beautiful gazebo in red wood, with seating area and fan, where guests can sit and relax. The vegetation provides complete privacy and tranquillity. Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa.

Swimming Pool:

The pool is about 15 m from the villa and is reached along a stone walkway. It is a skimmer pool, with internal and external lighting, and is surrounded by a sunbathing area paved in split porphyry with sunbeds, table, chairs, swing, ping-pong table and umbrellas. With an irregular kidney-bean shape, it has an area of about 100 sq m with the depth ranging from 1,10 to 2,20 m. The pool is lined in blue PVC and has salt purification; access to the water is via Roman staircase that allows easy access.and there is an outdoor cold-water shower. The pool is open from the last Saturday in April until the first Saturday in October.

Location and distances


The villa is located in Sulbiate, a small town in Brianza, known for its tranquillity, luxuriant nature and many cultural sites. All main services such as the bank, post office and shops can be found in the centre of Sulbiate, about 500 m from the property. Sulbiate is located in a strategic area of northern Italy, in easy reach of some of the most important tourist spots. Monza is 20 km away and has a lot to offer in terms of culture (the Duomo with the Iron Crown, the Royal Villa), nature (the Lambro river park) and sport (the Formula One Grand Prix takes place on the nearby racetrack). For shoppers, Milan's famous fashion district is just over 30 km from Villa Pina; the many hiking and biking trails of upper Brianza, such as those of Monte Palanzone with its wonderful views of Lake Como, will attract mountain-bikers and hikers, as well as those just content to be out walking in the open air. Within a radius of 100 km at the most is Lake Como, with the well-known resorts of Lecco, Bellagio and Como, a town with some of the most important examples of rationalist architecture, romantic Lake Lugano, Lake Iseo, and Lake Garda, with Sirmione, Salò, Bardolino, and lots of typical little villages. Reachable by a short walk, there's "Fondo Brugarolo", a spa (beauty treatments, kinesiology, massages, cosmetics) with a restaurant offering a menu based on Brianza's typical foods.

For the most part, everything met our expectations. One suggestion might be to update the kitchen and install a double sink.

We have not checked out yet, but we doubt there will be any problems. We have already alerted Paola regarding our departure plans. Paola has be excellent, helpful and responsive to our needs and questions. Ben has been wonderful and helpful.
What factors made you decide to book with Emma Villas?
We wanted a family retreat. And in close proximity to Milan for easy of travel to and from Canada. We did not plan to do many tourist activities. Simply, we wanted to relax with family and have reasonable access to supermarkets and restaurants.
What suggestions do you have to better the service provided by Emma Villas?
I cannot think of anything. The initial process was relatively easy to complete in order to make a booking and the Emma Villa team handled all of my questions.

The standard typology is the one that foresees the regular Saturday- Saturday stay. In this case it is possible to send a request or to directly book online.

SHORT STAYS and NON-WEEKLY STAYS:
For some periods it is possible to make shorter stays STARTING FROM 5 NIGHTS (periods highlighted in grey on the calendar). For some properties it is possible to book online, for other properties it is possible to send a booking request, which will be subject to acceptance by Emma Villas. One of our booking operators will answer the clients within 24 hours.

WEEKLY RENTALS NON SAT - SAT STAYS:
Exclusively for the periods marked in grey on the calendar, it will be possible to book different periods, rather than the regular Saturday - Saturday (for instance: check-in Wednesday - Check-out Wednesday). Also in this case, for some properties it is possible to book online, for other properties it is possible to send a booking request, which will be subject to acceptance by Emma Villas within 24 hours.
