Description:

PRIVATE STRUCTURE (lease only). Standing in a dominant position, near the old borgo of Equi Terme, already famous in Roman times for its hot springs, and surrounded by the marble mountains of the Apuan Alps Regional Park, is Villa Costanza, a well-equipped family villa, furnished with taste. Its position guarantees maximum privacy for a relaxing holiday but, at the same time, allows you to visit many towns such as Carrara, the Cinque Terre, Pontremoli, Lucca, Pisa, Florence, all easily and quickly reachable. The property includes a beautiful portico and a swimming pool, both in a panoramic position overlooking the entire valley.

Interior:

Villa Costanza is a beautiful, two-storey villa; the main entrance goes into in a large, bright living area divided into various zones, a TV/relaxation area and a dining area with direct access out to the well-equipped portico. To the right of the front door is a beautiful fully-equipped kitchen with direct outside access, followed by a corridor leading to a ground floor double bedroom and a bathroom with shower. From the living room, a terracotta staircase leads up to the sleeping area consisting of two double bedrooms and a bathroom with shower.

Park:

The villa is surrounded by a fenced garden of about 1000 sq m, with a lawn, partly flat and partly sloping, planted with olive trees. At the front of the villa is a large portico used as a dining and relaxation area connected with the two rooms of the main living area: the kitchen and the living room. This is the best place to enjoy the panorama offered by the Apuan Alps. Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa.

Swimming Pool:

The beautiful, rectangular swimming pool is located in a panoramic position at the ground floor level on the right side of the house which is about 5 m away. It measures 8 x 4 m with a depth of 1,5 m. Lined in liner, it has salt purification and a ladder for access to the water. The area is equipped with both internal and external lighting and there is a shower. The sunbathing area is equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas. The pool is available from the last Saturday of April to the first Saturday of October.

Villa Costanza is located in the hamlet of Mezzana, overlooking the famous borgo of Equi Terme, in eastern Lunigiana, among the marble mountains of the Apuan Alps Regional Park. The Lunigiana is a historic region located between Tuscany, Liguria and Emilia Romagna. This area, between the mountains and the sea, has been crossed by peoples of the North and South for thousands of years and so is full of history and culture to be discovered. From pre-Roman times until the 18th century, 160 castles were built of which more than 30 are still functional and inhabited while the rest are ruins and vestiges whose traces can be seen everywhere in the area. You are not far from the Tyrrhenian coast and Versilia, from the well-known Apuan Alps and the Cinque Terre and there are many historical, cultural and naturalistic itineraries you can make to visit old borghi (Fivizzano, Pontremoli, Villafranca, Sarzana, Fosdinovo, the towns of Massa, Carrara, Lerici, Lucca) and castles (Verrucola, Malaspina, of L'Aquila, of Terrarossa, of Pontebosio, of Bastia, etc.), to follow hiking trails or to go for bike or horseback rides.

The standard typology is the one that foresees the regular Saturday- Saturday stay. In this case it is possible to send a request or to directly book online.

SHORT STAYS and NON-WEEKLY STAYS:
For some periods it is possible to make shorter stays STARTING FROM 5 NIGHTS (periods highlighted in grey on the calendar). For some properties it is possible to book online, for other properties it is possible to send a booking request, which will be subject to acceptance by Emma Villas. One of our booking operators will answer the clients within 24 hours.

WEEKLY RENTALS NON SAT - SAT STAYS:
Exclusively for the periods marked in grey on the calendar, it will be possible to book different periods, rather than the regular Saturday - Saturday (for instance: check-in Wednesday - Check-out Wednesday). Also in this case, for some properties it is possible to book online, for other properties it is possible to send a booking request, which will be subject to acceptance by Emma Villas within 24 hours.

The booking requests for one week stay during July and August are subject to approval.
