Description:

PRIVATE STRUCTURE. Casa Maria is the ideal property for those wishing to stay in the heart of Positano. The house is located right in the centre of the romantic jewel of Amalfi coast and from its two panoramic terraces one can enjoy and enchanting view over the so-called “big beach” and admire the beauty of the sights “by night”. It is reacheable from the main road going down the typical narrow Positano steps. Casa Maria is built on two levels and is tastefully furnished with various antique pieces.

Interior:

The entrance door leads directly into the living room with a sofa and dining table. On both sides of the living room there are two bedrooms, the first, with double bed and private bathroom with shower. Both this room and the living room have French windows opening out onto the terrace. The second bedroom has a delightful queen size bed (big enough for two people). Sixteen steps lead down to the lower floor with bathroom with shower, small fully equipped kitchen, walk-through room with two single beds used as sofas and a double room with a large antique iron bed and private bathroom with shower. The second terrace can be accessed from this room and from the walk-though room.

Park:

Casa Maria has got two terraces. The top one has a breakfast table and built-in sofas with cushions, plus curtains useful for shading from the summer heat. The second terrace on the lower level has the view partially covered by plants and is equipped with a table for eight people.

Location and distances


Centrally located in Positano. In order to reach the main square and the main beach located at the bottom of Positano, you can either go 150 steps down or go 150 steps up and than walk on the road.In both cases it takes you 5/10 minutes. The nearest parking (with ticket) is at 200 – 300 metres like all the shops that are situated along the way. Positano very well know all over the world is a good starting point to visit and tour all the Amalfi coast as well as the island that are nearby like Capri or Ischia.

Fantastic location. Central location. Amazing view. Great facilities. It was great being met by Julie, who was lovely. She gave some useful information about getting around the area and it was good to know we could have contacted her had we needed to.

My communication with you prior to arriving was fabulous. I had very quick replies to emails and everyone was always very helpful. During our stay Julie was absolutely fabulous. She gave so many suggestions of activities that could be done, followed up on lost luggage for us and was available to chat to at any time.

I've rented this villa for 3 years in a row because it's a wonderful value for the money. We typically spend all of our time on the amazing balcony. In fact, it's hard to leave the balcony the first night we arrive because the view is so stunning. And, Julie has been such a wonderful hostess over the years, we consider her a friend!

The view was incredible. We enjoyed sitting on the the patio every evening watching the boats and looking at the fireworks from the top of the cliff. It was very centrally located and we loved walking to dinner every night and catching the ferry to visit other areas.

We booked a shuttle from Naples to Positano and, not being knowedgeable about the town, thought the instructions on the web-site would be sufficient for the driver to locate the villa. The website showed a dot on a map, however, there was no address or phone number for the manager. Fortunately, the driver called Emma Villas who put us through to the manager - we were not pleased with this event.

This is a beautiful property. The location has an amazing view and is a great location for getting to both the main road and the beach. We were two couples and had excellent privacy and plenty of room; especially with two balconies. The beds were comfortable, which we've found to be the exception rather than the rule in Italy. As 3 of us are tall, this was a nice aspect. The property manager was very attentive and helpful. If we return to Positano we would rent this again and highly recommend it

We selected the property, CASA Maria in Positano, on Vacation Rentals By Owner and it happened to be one of your properties. The property is amazing, the Italian tile, art work, beautiful furniture and dishes/platters, breathtaking views. We had an amazing week. Thought it was a great value.

WEEKLY RENTALS:
The standard typology is the one that foresees the regular Saturday- Saturday stay. In this case it is possible to send a request or to directly book online.

SHORT STAYS and NON-WEEKLY STAYS:
For some periods it is possible to make shorter stays STARTING FROM 5 NIGHTS (periods highlighted in grey on the calendar). For some properties it is possible to book online, for other properties it is possible to send a booking request, which will be subject to acceptance by Emma Villas. One of our booking operators will answer the clients within 24 hours.

WEEKLY RENTALS NON SAT - SAT STAYS:
Exclusively for the periods marked in grey on the calendar, it will be possible to book different periods, rather than the regular Saturday - Saturday (for instance: check-in Wednesday - Check-out Wednesday). Also in this case, for some properties it is possible to book online, for other properties it is possible to send a booking request, which will be subject to acceptance by Emma Villas within 24 hours.

The booking requests for one week stay during July and August are subject to approval.

The final price of the reservation includes the Insurance Policy for Cancellation of Stay. From this year, in addition to objectively and unambiguously documentable motivations of health or work and not foreseeable at the time of booking, you can cancel and be reimbursed in the event of:
  • motivations related to chronic and pre-existing conditions (new)
  • Covid-19 infections (new)
  • epidemics and pandemics that directly affect you, your travel companion or a family member (new)
  • a terrorist attack that has struck the place of stay (new)

STAY CANCELLATION GUARANTEE DUE TO LOCKDOWN - by Emma Villas (Included in the price) The final price of the reservation includes also the special coverage, guaranteed by Emma Villas, in the event that you are forced to cancel your stay in the 30 days prior to the scheduled check-in date, due to the occurrence of at least one of the following Covid-19 epidemic containment measures officially imposed by the competent authorities:
  • national lockdown in Italy;
  • local lockdown in Italy regarding the area in which the booked villa is located ("red" area or impossible to reach due to official restrictions on free circulation);
  • national lockdown in your country of residence;
  • Italian local lockdown in the Client's Municipality or area of residence..

HEALTH ASSISTANCE INSURANCE POLICY - by EuropAssistance (Optional) +1,5% of the rental price Not only cancellation policies, but also protection during your stay. You can choose to purchase this policy in the event you should, for the duration of your stay, want coverage for:
  • Healthcare with Operations Centre 24/7;
  • Vehicle Assistance to and from the place of stay and for the entire duration of your holiday; (zona "rossa" o impossibile da raggiungere a causa di restrizioni ufficiali alla libera circolazione);
  • Healthcare for family members left at home;
  • Reimbursement of medical expenses;

ZER0DEP COVER - by EuropAssistance (Mandatory) 49€ each reservation The new "Zer0Dep" guarantee protects you and allows you to have a tranquil holiday. Zer0Dep stands for "Zero deposit"; it is an insurance coverage developed in partnership with EuropAssistance which replaces the security deposit and which is therefore mandatory. The benefits of this guarantee are: you do not pay the security deposit on arrival: neither in cash nor by immobilising a substantial amount on your credit card limit;
  • you are protected in the case of eventual damage to the property caused accidentally during your stay (up to the maximum limit of 1500 euro);
  • you avoid any dispute on the responsibility of the damage and its quantification during check-out;

"EMMA", OUR NEW APP FOR SMART SERVICE Furthermore, from spring 2021, all our properties will be supported by Emma, a multifunctional Web-App, developed in partnership with Vikey s.r.l., that will allow you to implement:
  • online check-in (entering the required details that you did not enter when booking);
  • payment of tourist tax (where due) and eventual flat-rate payments requested (eg electricity, heating, extra cleaning for animals, etc.);
