Cascina Marianna is a splendid farmhouse surrounded by greenery, in the peaceful Marche countryside, just a stone's throw from Fossombrone and less than 1 km from the centre of Isola di Fano. Entirely built of stone, it dates back to the early 20th century. It has recently undergone a painstaking restoration and renovation, keeping as much as possible the characteristics of the original structure composed of two separate units, linked by terraces and gardens. Inside, the villa has an elegant and simple aspect. The sleeping area has brushed oak flooring planks, wooden beamed ceilings and some of the walls show up the carefully restored antique stone. Each room has its own identity which can be seen in the furnishings, with their elegant and refined colours. Some of the walls are decorated with paintings by the artist, Generali. The ground floor is paved with reconstructured bricks, typical of the areas of the Marche. All the furniture is in shabby chic style with the exception of a original chest of drawers from the old farmhouse. Every little detail of Cascina Marianna is able to arouse unique emotions. Interior:

The house has two floors connected by internal and external staircases. The main entrance, on the ground floor, leads directly into the living area consisting of a living room with fireplace and a professional kitchen. Also on the ground floor is a twin bedroom with joinable beds, designed for the disabled, with private entrance and en-suite bathroom with shower. From the living room, a staircase leads up to the first floor with three double bedrooms and a twin bedroom with joinable beds, all with en-suite bathroom with shower. At the rear of the house is an annex composed of a double bedroom, a bathroom with shower and a cosy sitting area.

Park:

Cascina Marianna stands inside a completely fenced-in property with automatic entrance gate. The park around the house covers about one hectare planted with young olive trees, fruit trees and colourful rose beds. There is also a tennis court, two boules courts and a children's play area, organized with a fun structure set up between two patches of tall bamboo. In the area in front of the kitchen is a large portico with a table and armchairs for outdoor dining. The annex, also, has two small porticoes furnished with armchairs, tables and chairs where guests can sit and relax. Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa.

Swimming Pool:

The rectangular swimming pool, just a few steps from the house, measures 12 x 6 m with a constant depth of 1,40 m. It is completely enclosed and heated with solar panels. It is lined in PVC and has chlorine purification. The solarium area, paved with stone-effect, anti-slip porcelain tiles, is equipped with sunbeds, deckchairs, tables and umbrellas. At the entrance to the pool area is a cold-water shower with foot washer. The whole area is served by toilets and showers located in the pool basement, accessible via a flight of steps. There is also a small gym with changing rooms for men and women. The pool is available to guests from the last Saturday in April to the first Saturday of October.

Close to Fossombrone, a small quiet town which is one of the major centres of the Metauro valley and especially appreciated by visitors for its medieval characteristics and artistic treasures. Within a 100 km radius are important tourist and cultural centres like Gradara, Gubbio, Urbino and San Marino, while the nearby A14 motorway junction will take you to seaside resorts like Fano, Rimini and Riccione. The nearest railway station is in Fano, 33 km away. A few hundred metres away is Isola di Fano, with all necessary services.

La Cascina Marianna ha superato le nostre aspettative, location molto curata, fornita di tutti i servizi necessari, pratica e comoda nella sua configurazione. Camere confortevoli, ben arredate (unica pecca nei bagni l'assenza del bidet), Cucina top di gamma con elettrodomestici da cucina professionale e con qualsiasi tipologia di attrezzatura necessaria per la cucina, barbecue esterno stupendo, piscina meravigliosa, ampio spazio verde intorno alla casa che isola la location dal resto del mondo.

10, really easy access to Paula the owner if there were anything that needed to handle during the stay, that was really comforting. Very warm welcoming gift at arrival that we really appreciated. :)

My friend told me Emma Villas was safe. We found Casca de Marianna and it had access for wheelchair people, and the price was fairly reasonable compared to other villas at Emma Villas. Also, the Tennis court was a good selling point. :)
